Transportation
Riga International Airport (RIX) is located approximately 12 km from Ķīpsala (the championships area) and is well connected to the venue by both public transport and taxi. The Latvian Bridge Federation has also negotiated preferential rates with a local taxi company for participants.
Public Transportation
The most affordable way to reach the venue area from the airport is the Rīgas Satiksme city bus No. 22. Get off at the Kauguru iela stop, which is the closest one to the venue area in Ķīpsala — from there it is a short walk to the Exhibition Centre.

Where to buy tickets
Ticket machines, Narvesen kiosks, the Rīgas Satiksme or Mobilly apps, or directly from the driver (card only)
Frequency
Every 10–30 minutes, daily from approx. 05:25 to 00:40
Validate & transfer
Tap your ticket on board. The €1.50 ticket is valid 90 minutes across bus, tram and trolleybus.
Tip. If your hotel is on the Old Town side of the river, the 90-minute ticket lets you stay on Bus 22 past Kauguru iela and reach the city centre, or transfer to a tram on the same fare.
Taxi & Shuttle Service
The Latvian Bridge Federation has agreed special rates with a local taxi company for transfers between Riga International Airport and the venue area. Two vehicle options are available:
